The police investigate Kentaro Arita’s family, his colleagues at the law office, and his lover actress Natsuki Toyama. The police are unable to determine a suspect and the case goes unsolved. 5 years later, day laborer Tatsuji Kosaka is found dead at a construction site. There is evidence that links the murders of Lawyer Kentaro Arita and Tatsuji Kosaka. Tomo Yashiro (Haru) and Risa Narumi (Kyoka Suzuki) begin to investigate the two cases.
