When asked if there were any superpowers they wish they had, they don't say superhuman strength. Or rays that shoot out of their eyes. Or the proportional strength of a spider. (Tyler, to her credit, does reveal she'd like to breathe underwater like Aquaman.)

Rather, they worry about the moral ramifications of X-ray vision. "There is an ethical line you don't want to cross," says Paltrow, who has clearly never been disappointed by a faulty pair of X-ray Specs.

"It seems a little dirty," says Gyllenhaal. "I'd get in too much trouble if I could read minds or become invisible or see through people's clothes."

Well, sure, but that's why they call them superpowers.
