| I am 32yrs. old and a white boy from deep in the stix of N.C.. I got involved in drugs at a young age of 15 and took a beatin' from crack cocaine for about 13yrs. I got myself straightened out almost five yrs. ago and I have been been contemplating starting my own construction co. for the past yr. Nothing big just me and my younger bro., who is coming here to Hawaii from N.C. to try and do this thang with me and us make something in life that we and our family can be proud of.(I'm getting' old, Man) I watched this movie the other night for the 1st time and have been changing gears ever since. I went out the next day and grabbed the movie and soundract. Ihave watched the movie at least six times since and when I hear the songs that the cast created in the movie tears come to my eyes every time.Not tears of sorrow or sadness, but tears that come straight from a well of motivation deep down inside me. I quit my company job that I had been working with for about a yr.& a-half and I have 4months of personal jobs and they keep coming in everyday. I don't know if any of the actors in the movie ever read this kind of stuff and to tell you the truth I have never done anything like sending in comments on a movie but I want the actors to know that this movie changed my life in a very positive way if you believe that can happen. |
